Countdown to Christmas

I finally did it. I've been wanting to make an advent calendar for the kids every year but I always find some excuse to not do one. Well, this year, I finally decided to stop making excuses and create one. I'm so glad I did. When the kids wake up tomorrow morning, they are going to be so excited to find this calendar filled with fun prizes to help them countdown to Christmas.

We also had Thanksgiving with Wills family. His mom cooked the entire meal and then brought it over to our house to celebrate. This is the only picture I took. Lol. The dogs watching Keith very closely as he cuts up the Turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving

This year we went to my Uncles house for Thanksgiving. It was great seeing everyone and enjoying some great food. I am so thankful for my amazing family.

Sugar cookies

We seem to be super excited about Christmas this year and we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet. The kids just saw Santa and now we are decorating Christmas cookies. Konnor enjoyed the decorating part and Murphy enjoying licking the frosting off of the sugar cookies.

Not in the mood

We were waiting for Konnor to get out of choir. I asked Murphy is I could take his picture and this is the look he gave me.

I found Murphy sitting in the hallway reading books. He loves to read.

Poor Konnor

Konnor is super sick. I put him to bed and he couldn't stop coughing and eventually threw up. It took him almost 2 hours to finally fall back to sleep. I hope he feels better soon.

Christmas wreath

I've been in a really crafty mood these past few weeks. I am so happy about this because I seriously can't remember the last time I wanted to create something for myself. I made this wreath today. It was so fun to make and I think it turned out really well. Looking forward to my next project.

Mt. Baker theater

Konnor skipped part of the day of school today so we could go see a play at the Mt.  Baker theater. The play was called, Before the People Came, and the kids loved it. They do a different play every month during the school year and they only show it for one day. Looking forward to the next one.

Copy cat

Murphy loves doing everything that Konnor does. For example, when Konnor takes off his shirt Murphy has to have his shirt off too. It is really cute to watch him look up to his big brother.

woodland park zoo

Will and I decided to take the kids somewhere and do something fun. Since the weather seemed to be somewhat decent, we decided to take a road trip to Seattle and visit Woodland Park Zoo. The kids had a blast and to our surprise, it was pretty empty at the zoo, which Will loved. We saw some animals that we didn't get to see the last time we went, which was nice. The kids enjoyed feeding the birds again (their favorite thing to do at the zoo). Hopefully, we can go back for Zoolights.

Veteran's Day Assembly

Konnor is in choir this year. I love that he loves to sing. The choir had their first performance of the year this morning at their Veterans Day Assembly. Konnor did so well. They sang the song, "Thankful for the USA."
