artwork...

Will and I have been working hard teaching Konnor how to draw shapes and faces. He has definitely impressed us. He has learned how to draw squares, triangles, and circles. He has also become really good at faces. I love the hair and the huge ears in the picture below! Now we're trying to teach him to write some letters of the alphabet.

Can you spot all the shapes and huge face in the drawing below?

another park adventure

I just found these pictures and realized that I hadn't posted these on the blog. These were taken a couple of weeks back (when we still had decent weather). Konnor is being a lot more cooperative with taking photos lately. He'll actually pause for a second and smile for me. I might be biased but I think he is the cutest boy ever!

stoneyridge farm

Here are the only three photos I took at the farm this year. Why, you ask? Because my camera's batteries died! I was soooooo upset and am still a little upset just thinking about it. Oh well, at least I got a few shots, right?

halloween

Halloween was great this year. The main reason? Because Will was here to enjoy it with us.
This year we decided to let Konnor pick out his own costume and he decided to be Brobee from
the show "Yo Gabba Gabba." He absolutely loves this show. It's his second favorite next to "Caillou." The costume fit him perfectly except for the hat, which was a little snug...but it worked.

First we headed out to Bloedel to do their Halloween walk around the trail.

Konnor thought the little decorations all along the trail were super cool.

Konnor tired of walking.

After the trail walk, we headed down to Fairhaven and did some trick or treating. Konnor loved getting all those yummy treats. He especially liked the fact that most everyone let him choose which piece of candy he wanted.

After walking around for awhile, Konnor decided that he needed a little candy break.

After our little break we finished off the rest of the stores in Fairhaven. Konnor was so cute. He wouldn't say "trick or treat" but after he would pick out his candy he would say "thank you" to everyone.

Then we finished off the night in a cute little neighborhood. I think Konnor enjoyed going door to door the best. He would knock on the door or ring the doorbell and then the moment the person would open the door, he would try to walk into their house like he owned the place. So funny. Overall, I think we had a very eventful night. Looking forward to next year!

...because he is so dang cute.

cars, cars, cars!!!

Konnor is REALLY into cars right now. Well, actually, he's really into cars, trucks, buses, helicopters, airplanes...pretty much anything with an engine. I think I did mention in an earlier post that he LOVES our garbage man/truck. Whenever we're out and about and we come across a CAT truck or a bus, he goes crazy. He LOVES them all! Here he is playing with some of his cars. He really enjoys lining them up in rows. He first thought three rows would be good and then decided that one long row would be better. He can play with his cars all day.

cell phone

Recently, Konnor has decided that he enjoys talking on the phone. Whenever I am on my cell phone, no matter who I am talking to, he wants to talk as well. It's really cute. Here he is talking to his Grandpa Keith...who he loves to talk with.
