Today is my dad and my sister-in-law's birthday. Happy birthday dad and Sarah...Will and I love you both! We hope you both have an amazing day. Dad-good luck at the casino tomorrow. I wish you luck. Sarah-I hope you're having fun in San Diego. Will and I are so jealous. I just have to say that I know way too many people who have birthday's in the month of May. There are two (Trish and Jen) on the 6th, two (Will and Alisen) on the 12th and two (dad and Sarah) on the 27th. It's also wierd that there are two on each of those days. Anyway, happy birthday dad and sarah!
On another note, Will and I went to the movies today and watched "Over the Hedge." If you like watching animated movies, you'll love this one. It was so funny. We were laughing throughout the whole movie. The best characters were the manic squirrel (played by Steve Carell) and the oppossium (played by William Shatner). What a great movie! Everyone should check out this movie.

new car!!!!!
Will and I just bought a new car a few days ago. We are so super excited! We have been talking about trading in our Jetta for a newer used car for awhile and we finally did it. It so happened that the dealership where Will bought the Jetta was having a huge sale so we decided to have a look and what do you know...a couple of hours later, we were driving away in a new car. I am completely in love with our car. I have always wanted an SUV and now I have one. It's a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer and it's perfect for us. It was the perfect time for us to do this, especially since our Jetta was slowly dying on us. I'm kind of rambling so I'll just show you some pictures of our new car.

happy birthday, miss tammy t!
So, my co-worker, miss tammy t, had a birthday party yesterday evening and it was a blast. Everyone had an awesome time and the best part (besides the awesome cupcakes) was karaoke time. Elke and I started it off by singing Sir Mix A Lot's "Baby Got Back." I never knew how much talent we had at Treasury of Memories, but after last night, I now know we are all very talented ladies, not only with scrapbooking but with singing and dancing. To prove it, here are some pictures of us singing our hearts out and when I figure out how to post the video, you can check us out singing, "Girls just want to have fun"...because fun is what we had!
Steph, Elke, and Tammy dancing to the "Macarena"
Elke and Elizabeth singing away.
Elke and Will singing, "Bust a Move"
Here are the TOM girls singing "Girls just want to have fun." We had to restart two times because someone kept pulling the cord out...it was hillarious. We had a good time singing this one...as you can tell.

Happy Birthday
Will and I hung out in Canada today to celebrate his birthday. We decided to go to Vancouver but after walking around a bit we got tired of the scene pretty quickly so we decided to head to White Rock. White Rock was pretty cool, laid back and very pretty. It has a long boardwalk with restaurants and shops all along the beach and a super long pier. We had a good time, it was definitely more our style than Vancouver. It was also nice because it's about 5 miles north of the border, so when we headed home, it only took us a couple of minutes to get to the border...too bad once we got to the border it took us an hour and a half to cross it. Anyway, it was a beautiful day and I highly recommend checking out White Rock. It's a fun little town with a beautiful view of the water. Here are a few pictures.
Here is the infamous "White Rock" for which the town is named after.
Will and I hanging out at the beach.
Will thought this would be a cool picture, especially with the crow hanging out on top. For about a minute, we were in two countries at once.

what a disaster...
I've been wanting to cut my hair for some time now and I finally had the nerve to do it yesterday evening. Alisen and I went and got our haircuts together and what a disaster. I hate, I mean, really hate my haircut. The end result was not what I was hoping for. I even gave the hair dresser a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like but I think she's blind because my hair did not turn out like the picture. My hair is sooooo short. I can't even tuck it behind my ears, which I told the hair dresser I wanted to be able to do. So, now I have to walk around town looking like a boy and hating how I look. I went to Target right after I got my haircut, hoping I would find a headband or scarf to cover up the mess on my head. What a disaster! Anyway, if my haircut had gone like I had hoped I would have posted a picture of my new hairdo but since it's horrible, I will spare each and every one of you by not showing or taking any pictures of myself for at least a month (I'm hoping by then it'll look somewhat decent). So, if I don't see some of you for awhile it's because I'm in hiding. I'm only going out into the world to go work and to go to the gym besides that, you will not see me for at least a month. Bye for now!

another concert...
So, I felt kind of bad about going to the Kenny Chesney concert without Will so when he told me that Godsmack (one of his favorite rock bands) was going on tour, I had to buy some tickets. I was able to get some tickets and I think it'll be pretty cool. I'm not into that type of music but I still think it'll be fun to go, especially since it's up in Vancouver and they're playing at the Orpheum Theatre (a pretty small venue), plus Will is super excited. That weekend is going to be crazy. It just happens that the Godsmack concert is on the same weekend as Kenny. So, I have Kenny Chesney's concert on Saturday, June 24th down in Seattle and then I have the Godsmack concert on Sunday, June 25th up in Vancouver. It'll be a busy weekend but I'm sure it will be super fun!
