hot hot hot

Today was another hot day. We took the kids the the beach again. Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter. I think we'll have to take another trip.

The kids had their last soccer game last night. They had so much fun playing on the same team. I am so happy Konnor has found two really great friends. I hope they continue as friends for a very long time.

Konnor has been sick the last few days so when he woke up feeling a lot better today, we decided to get out of the house. We started out at the Farmer's Market, then went to the beach (where I took a few photos), and then we went to the library so Konnor could pick out a couple of books all about bugs! What a great way to spend the morning.

last day of kindergarten

Konnor had his last day of Kindergarten today. It didn't end like I thought it would. He had to come home early because he was not feeling well. At least he got to see his friends one last time and go to the end of the year assembly.

I can't believe how quickly this year went. Konnor has grown so much this year. He was blessed to have a great teacher. He made a lot of friends but most importantly, two best friends. I like to call them the three musketeers. He also learned to read (above standard) and write three part stories. He is also above standard in math. He is one smart boy. I couldn't be happier with the way the year went. He is blessed to have a great kindergarten experience. Looking forward to 1st grade!
