I love this kid!

Konnor and I had a good morning together yesterday. We did a little shopping, went to the park, and visited the girls at Treasury. I am loving this time right now, especially the love the I get from Konnor when I take his picture. He is loving the camera lately. Whenever I want to take a picture of him, he'll stop what he is doing and he'll strike a pose for me and put on a huge smile. I hope this lasts for awhile. It makes my job at taking pictures way easier.

tricycle training

Konnor has just recently decided to finally ride his tricycle by using the pedals. Whenever we would try to teach him how to ride he just wouldn't get it because he would put pressure on both pedals and would not go anywhere. Then all of a sudden, a few days ago, he started pedaling the right way. Since today was such a nice day we decided to take his tricycle riding to the park. Konnor had so much fun. However, for whatever reason, he would not put his feet on the pedals. He reverted back to pushing himself around with his feet on the ground. Oh well, he sure had fun though.

I love his facial expression here. He was riding down a little incline backwards and thought that was so fun. He did it over and over again.

new stool

Konnor loves his new stool. Thanks Great Uncle Bruce and Great Aunt Patty. He's been dragging this thing all around the house and he can't stop checking out all the fun little things in his name and of course the cool truck and car stickers. He is in heaven.

yeah, i admit it, he's a little strange

So, the other day, we headed into town and decided to stop at the Goodwill to see if there were any good books to purchase. Will and I love to read and the best place for used books is the Goodwill. Can't beat .69 cents for all paperbacks. Anyhoo, we told Konnor that he could get something at the Goodwill as well. There weren't any good kids books or toys so we decided to head to the $1 store which is right next to the Goodwill to see if he wanted something there. We took him to the little toy aisle and showed him the coloring books and stickers and nope, he didnt' want any of those. You know what he wanted? He wanted a broom. First it was a set of paper cups that he really wanted but then he saw the broom and got super excited. We just had to buy it for him. Oh, and we threw in a deck of cards as well (can't beat .50 cents). My kid definitely has his priorities in check. The moment we got home, he took his broom and started sweeping the floor. He's so funny. See how happy he is to have his very own broom?

trader joes

We headed to Trader Joes today (it's now one of our favorite places to shop) and Konnor got to be the cart boy. He was soooo excited to have his very own cart and it was hilarious to watch him push that thing around. If I had let him, he would have run over every single person in that store. I think it's Konnor's favorite place to shop too. And of course, when we had to leave, he was quite upset.
